The senior class’s own favorite creative, brilliant kid, Riley Miller. Riley has been a unique spark of energy around the campus with her knack for crafts and gift in the mathematic field. We are so proud of her accomplishments and cannot wait to see what life has in store for her.
Having been a knight since 5th grade, Riley knows a thing or two about the CCS campus. She has had an amazing time growing up here. She has met great friends and learned many things from several teachers. Out of all of her high school courses,
Riley enjoys Chemistry the most. She loves formulas and anything that has to do with science. She could not be more grateful for some of her closest friends Abby Richards, Jane Fox, Kate Foster, Eva Bower, Grace Blevins, Xavier Pierce, and Lauren Spangler. They have been the greatest companions in the world. Some of her most influential teachers have been Mr. McLeod, Mrs. Switzer, and Mr. Zacarias. She cannot thank them enough for their undying dedication and willingness to be patience with their students. They have made her CCS experience all the more enjoyable.
She plans on attending UNCC, USC, or UNC Asheville where she plans to study computer sciences. Riley is very big on technology. She is a member of the robotics club because she has always been interested in computers. She plans to take the skills she learns in college to be an innovator in the technological field.
In her free time, Riley loves to cosplay and make costumes. He artistic abilities have won her awards like 1st place in watercolor and sculpture and 5th place in costuming at NCJCL. She also uses her creative capabilities a member of the photography club
While at CCS, Riley has experienced a tremendous amount of spiritual growth. After taking bible courses over the past 4 years, she has learned to not only believe in God, but to defend her faith against whatever the world says. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 which states that the Lord has a plan for your life and he will never lead you astray or try to hurt you.
Congratulations on graduating as a knight, Riley, we have no doubt that your skills in life will take you far and that the Lord will guide you on the right path.
