If you ever want a good story about crazy adventures in Africa, look no further than asking our own Cassie Trull! During her times in Africa, Cassie encountered a rhino that ended up charging her and stones a spitting cobra. Talk about memories!
Cassie also loves making memories with her two brothers. Her older brother, Jonathan, is a junior at UNC Chapel Hill. He plays left guard for the Tarheel football team. Her younger brother, Stephen, also attends Charlotte Christian as a sophomore.
When she’s not adventuring abroad or spreading God’s word on mission trips, Cassie spends a lot of her time at Charlotte Christian. Whether it is in the classroom or in the pool, Cassie is always a spirited, friendly face representing our school. In freshman year, she started swimming on our varsity swim team. Four years later, she finished up her varsity swim career with many fond memories. One of her closest friends, Annie Nedrow, is also on the swim team and the two have bonded even more during practices and meets.
Charlotte Christian has helped Cassie strengthen her faith immensely over the years. Our teachers have not only taught her more about God, but also how to stand up for her faith. She is more confident and bold about what she believes in now.
As she prepares to start the next chapter of her life, Cassie plans on attending either UNC Wilmington or UNC Charlotte. In college, she plans to major in biology and psychology. Then, she will get her PA in pediatrics or labor and delivery. Teachers like Mr. McLeod helped ignite her passion for biology and she is so excited to pursue a career in medicine!
Cassie, we will miss you so much! As you embark on a new adventure, always remember the lessons learned during your time as a Knight. We are sure you will continue spreading your positive energy in college and blossom as a student. Best of luck.
