We will miss Mrs. Crawford dearly next year!

A night of the stars took place this past Monday as Charlotte Christian held its annual fine arts banquet! The banquet was a lovely affair with fancy people, a delectable dinner, and a huge display of some of Charlotte Christian’s fine arts accomplishments over the past year. All three divisions of music, visual arts, and theatre were celebrated through a plethora of speeches and live performances. The most anticipated part of the night was perhaps the reveal of next year’s high school spring musical. We are looking forward to a marvelous production of Cinderella on our new stage in are long awaited fine arts building.

After an evening of recognition and fellowship, the night concluded with a heartfelt farewell to Mrs. Crawford, the upper school art teacher. Mrs. Goley also gave a moving speech about her colleague and best friend that brought the whole room to tears. Mrs. Crawford’s students surprised her with a basket of handmade gifts and some moving speeches, thanking her for being their teacher. Lastly, the fine arts staff performed a lighthearted, funny musical performance to say so long and farewell. We love you Mrs. Crawford and remember that you will always have a home at Charlotte Christian.
