The Knights walk out of the tunnel prior to one of their games in September.

After losing some star seniors including running back Elijah Deveaux and a large piece of our defense, the future of the team was uncertain. However, after working hard long hours all summer, new players stepped up into leadership roles and took control on the field.


People from other schools doubted our team, even local magazines, but they proved everyone wrong. The team battled to an undefeated record until week nine, beating some of the most talented teams on our schedule. These included Charlotte Catholic, Cuthbertson, West Ashley, and North Davidson. Then, in the first round of the playoffs, the beat defending champs Davidson Day to advance to the State Championship.The Knights football team finished the season 10-2, but fell to Charlotte Latin in the State Championship with a score of 28-27.


The team this year made a statement every time they left the field after winning; do not take private school football lightly. They come to win.


Team 25 was an amazing team, full of young men with talent, leadership, and great motivation. Our students will never forget the journey of the 2016 season and the memories we made cheering you on.


We are ready for Team 26.
