The JV squad waits outside the conference room to begin their camp training! The 2017
fall squad worked hard in summer practices and at camp to prepare for the season.

As the 2017-2018 football season begins, the JV cheer squad is getting prepared to cheer on the Knights!

The team is working hard and practicing for their first halftime performance which they will perform on September 7th, the first home game of the season. With practices 3 times a week, the squad is perfecting their stunts and striving to have an entertaining and eye catching performance for every home game.

At the Great Wolf Lodge UCA cheer camp, the JV cheer squad got the “Traditional Award” and second place for their extreme routine. The extreme routine stunt consisted of an inverted stunt with elevators on the side, then up to an extended lib. This routine was definitely a crowd favorite! They also spent time bonding as a team. Our team grew closer together, and as a result, all the stunts were hit and the team won many gold ribbons for their performances. Camp was a great time for the JV team to learn how to work together.

The JV cheer team is a new addition to Charlotte Christian, consisting of 8 ninth graders and 4 tenth graders. The team is coached by Coach Julie Siragusa and Coach Caroline Pickens. The squad is composed of freshmen Caroline Banks, Kalen Bland, Susan Davis, Riley Matthews, Maddie Roddy, Ava Van-Hoy, Sarah Whiting, and Shae Whittle. The sophomores on the team include Elizabeth Bobbitt, Hannah Paschall, Bria Pinckney, and Annika Urban.

The CCS JV cheerleaders are excited to begin the football season and get the crowd cheering for the boys. The squad is ready to show their support and spirit for the team. The JV football team has 4 home games this season and 3 away games. The cheer team would love for anyone to attend and show some love to our football team this season as they work hard and play to win!
