With the bright blue lights, delicious donut wall, and a bit of spilled chocolate milk, it’s safe to say that homecoming 2018 was one that we won’t forget. The student life committee and Mrs. Fair worked for 4 hours on Saturday morning to transform the Saleh room and Guy Gym into a place for the students to dance and spend time with their friends. The anticipation grew as group pictures were posted all over Instagram and the high school students entered into the dance.

The DJ took an interesting approach to the music this year, starting off with your classic radio pop songs and transitioning into the most popular rap songs, certain to get the students dancing. It was evident that the students were having a great time, especially Jackson Combis, who might’ve been having too great of a time (just ask him about his now ripped dress pants). There were a few slow dances here and there to give the couples a time to slow it down and give the singles a break for a donut or two.

Homecoming became the perfect start to a week planned for fun dress up days and a Friday night game against Country Day. Whether it was one of the 103 freshmen who experienced their first homecoming or a senior who danced their night away one last time, the dance proved to be one of the best nights of the year (per usual).
